Midware is an independent company based in Prague. We run three ventures in very different markets: super-premium pet food for Central Europe, a live subway app for New York City, and a daily read on market sentiment for investors.

About Midware

One company. Three very different markets.

Midware a.s. was founded in Prague in 2006. Today it is home to three ventures that share little on the surface — dog and cat food, subway trains and stock-market sentiment.

What they do share is a way of working: small teams that stay close to their customers, products we operate ourselves every day, and technology wherever it makes things simpler and faster.

Super-premium food for dogs and cats.

A family company from Opava and one of the leading importers of high-quality dog and cat food in the Czech Republic. STAZ supplies pet shops and pet owners in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland — with its own brands Topstein, Farm Fresh and Crunchies alongside FirstMate from Canada and Forza10, Nuova Fattoria and Golosi from Italy.

NYC Express follows every New York subway train live and gives riders one clear answer, door to door: which train to take, where to switch and when they will arrive. It plans trips across the subway and the city's buses — local, Select Bus Service and express — and reads the service alerts so riders don't have to.
